Mission Statement for the Laois Association in Dublin
“The purpose of the Laois Association is to foster the origins of Laois people of all traditions and of all ages in Dublin, through cultural, educational, sporting and social contact, developing the traditions of the past while embracing and contributing to the Ireland of the New Millennium“
Whenever possible, the promotion of the interests of County Laois has been and remains a primary focus of the Association in Dublin. The Association thrived through its long and beneficial contacts with the sporting, social, cultural and historical communities in County Laois and particularly through the support of Laois County Council who, in 2001, presented the Association with its chain of office.
