The Winter 2025 Combination Event for members and friends of the Laois Association Dublin took place on Saturday, 13th December 2025, at the Teachers’ Club, Dublin. Attendees brought an interesting variety of prizes for inclusion in the raffle.
The schedule included:
Annual General Meeting at 12:00 noon. Ecumenical Service at 12:45 PM. Christmas Lunch and Entertainment from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Ecumenical Service
After the AGM, Chairman Gerry Thompson led a poignant memorial service for deceased members and loved ones of members. On the day, the Association lovingly remembered Denis Donohue and Rosemary Donohue (Eugene’s brother and sister-in-law), Vincent Rafter (serving Vice Chairman) and deceased members of the Association, family and friends.

Christmas Lunch and Entertainment
Christmas Lunch followed the Ecumenical Service. Entertainment was provided by our own Sandy Metcalfe with members joining in along the way.
